Introduction to Our Fine City

The city of Maple Lake is a medium sized city located...somewhere...no one's really sure where it is really. The city itself seems to be very strange existing across multiple dimensions and time periods in seemingly many different places allowing people to stumble upon the area no matter where their journey started out. The city has a tendency to draw things in whether it be people, artifacts or just bizarre goings on and no one is really sure why. As of recently the strange goings on tend to be leaking outside of the city leading to a variety of organizations to head there and investigate why this is happening and others heading there to collect up the bizarre things there to use for their own purposes.

So yeah basically this site is a play by post role playing game. You make a character then join in the games and work on building storylines and partaking in storylines by playing out the actions of your character. As the above description says this is a sort of a city of the bizarre which means within reason all kinds of bizarre things are possible, characters of varying kinds as long as they don't break the site rules can interact in a very very strange city and there will be an ongoing adventure/mystery kind of arc going on to participate in as well.
