epicjester) The tweeting of birds in the treetops, the rustle of leaves as the wind blew through them. All was peaceful and calm. Until a fluttering noise like a hummingbird makes zoomed through the forest. Flashes d black gold and orange flew by in a blur as a human sized person with wings flew by. Up up into the sky past the tree tops and into the open air where she paused. Her wings working to hold her in midair. The breeze at this height blew her curly blonde hair into her gold eyes which widened as she spotted a cute pond up ahead. Flying down there she hovered on the water's surface as if she could walk on water. Her feet making little ripples as she walked. Just barely in contact with the pond. Happily the Fairy danced across the water's surface while humming a happy tune. Unaware of anyone nearby but lost in the sense of freedom.

Theodore was having a nice day so far. Nothing exciting or dangerous was happening. For the whole day it was quiet and he could just have some time to himself.
So it was that he found himself outside the city limits, having flown there thanks to his armor. In hopes of getting away from the noise and having some time to himself. He was currently sitting against a tree near the shore of a small pond. Sketching the pond on his pad that he had brought with him. Beside him lay a small basket filled with food. He figured that he might as well bring some food with him in case he got hungry.
His sketching was interrupted by something, or rather someone, fluttering down over the lake. Letting out a yelp in shock, Theodore hid his face behind his sketchpad, before peaking over his sketchpad to look at the newcomer. He sat there in silence fro a moment, simply watching the girl float above the water, before loudly clearing his throat to catch her attention and giving her a small wave.

Startled by the noise the Fairy darted behind a tree by the lake an his a few moment before hesitantly peeking around it. Her expression frightened and weary. She eyes at the young man cautiously before returning the wave hesitantly and slid behind the tree again only to peek out once more at him in curiosity.

And now you've gone and scared her. Great job Theo. Sighing he spoke out to address the fairy. "I'm not going to hurt you." He said in an effort to reassure her. He stood up and held up both his hands in a peaceful gesture to show that he was unarmed. "My name is Theodore. I just came out here for some sketching. I mean you no harm." He certainly had no intention of hurting this girl. It seemed like they had both just wandered into each other. It was a simple chance meeting.

She stepped out of her hiding spot and looked at him curiously before hovering in the air and twirling around him a few times then landed Infront of him before giving him a bright smile. "Hello! I'm Spark!" She introduced with a curtsy and a bow of her head. Her wings bent slightly so her curtsying wouldn't be awkward.

"It's nice to meet you Spark." Theodore mumbled, now nervous that the girl was flying around him. He blinked when she gave him a curtsy. He responded with a blush of embarrassment for forgetting his manners and responded with his own bow. Now that the two had introduced themselves. Theo figured he might as well make an effort to be social. The only problem was that he was very shy. He had no idea how to start a conversation with someone. "Umm." He started, scratching the back of his head while trying to come up with something to say.
You have nothing to say to the girl Theo? Nothing at all? God dammit, do you need to learn how to socailise

She giggled at his shyness and tucked her hair behind her pointed ear. "A-are you new here Theo?" She asked curiously. "I just came here a few days ago but haven't really made any effort to socialize until today by chance." She commented lightly. She shyly glanced up at him through her bangs. Her golden eyes bright and friendly

"Umm. Yeah I'm new here. I'm attending Sinclair Academy in Southpoint." He finally managed to get over his social anxiety and talk to the girl. Now that he saw that she was willing to engage him in conversation. It was then that he noticed her wings. Odd that he didn't really notice them even though she was flying around him with them. But I suppose he was too busy hiding behind his sketchpad to notice them.
He tentatively raised his hand and pointed at the wings. "I-if you d-don't mind me asking. W-What are you exactly?" Theodore had never met something that could be considered a supernatural creature before. Right now Spark had his full attention and curiosity.

Oh!" She nodded enthusiastically. "I see. So your a student." She murmured before glancing over her shoulder at her wings she gave a small smile at his question before extending one of her wings for better access and view. "I'm an Autumn Fairy." She replied looking at her wings. They were large maple leaf sort of shaped in the color of burning orange yellow red and black. "I help pain the trees for Fall." She replied shyly with a smile as she glanced down at the ground.

"You're a fairy?" Theodore breathed out, a curious look on his face as he joined Spark in looking at her wings. "I don't know that much about fairies to be honest." He looked away shyly and scratched the back of his head. "I though you were a lot smaller than this." His eyes widened as he realised that he may have insulted her. He backed away raising his hands and began stuttering. "N-Not that there's a-anything wrong with h-how you l-look." He stammered out. Hoping to placate the fairy. "Y-You look n-nice really." His eyes somehow grew wider and his face turned beet-red as he comprehended what he said. In Theo's naive mind he just hit on a girl he just met.
Letting out a moan of despair, he buried his face in his hands. Not wanting to look at Spark out of sheer embarrassment.

"Well Fairy's are small magical little people with wings in different sizes and shapes and colors who are in charge of nature so to speak. Some are dark magic others are forest fairies who take care of the seasons and animals while others are magical fairies that grant wishes. It's alot to take in but..." She stopped her rambling he talked about her size. She blinked at him a he stuttered and stammered and hid his face.
There was utter silence before Spark stepped forward to stand half a foot away from him hesitantly before closing the gap and wrapped her arms around him with a kind and tinkling bell like laughter bubbling from her lips as she gave him a hug. "No need to be emberessed Theo! Your right, fairies are a lot smaller but we can blend in by growing into human size." She smiled and stroked the back of his head gently with an amused look in her eyes. "You didn't insult me at all!"

While Spark most likely had the best intentions when she hugged Theodore in an effort to calm him down. It unfortunately had the opposite effect. Theo froze up even more. Before realising that it was actually rather pleasant. He began relaxing in Spark's embrace and was about to answer her before a robotic voice droned in his mind. "Host. Is female is causing you distress? Shall I activate the sonic cannon?" Theo's eyes widened in alarm as he backed away from an embrace that he was starting to enjoy quite a bit. "N-No." He barked out. Clamping his hand down on his wrist that now had blue armor spreading along it.
He realised that he just shouted out for no reason like a madman. He held up his hand in an effort to keep Spark away. "W-Wait just there okay. D-Don't come any closer. I don't w-want to hurt you." He turned his attention back to his wrist, trying to force the blue armor to retract back into his body. Theodore was rather frightened right now. He was pretty scared of showing other people the armor, due to the destructive potential it had.
His fear was working against him however. For the Scarab kept trying to activate the armor as it responded to Theo's fear, thinking its host was in danger. The more Theodore panicked, the faster it spread. It was slowly creeping out. Now his legs were covered in blue and black armor. It was slowly spreading upwards. Theodore was making small whimpers of fear. Needless to say, he did not want Spark to be near him. He was afraid he would hurt the kind-hearted fairy.

Spark noticed his stiffening an jerked away at his shouting. Her eyes wide in barely suppressed fear as she flicked her wings out ready to take flight if need be. She could see the frightened look on the boys face and it made her heart contract in pain. She hated seeing people so afraid and helpless.
She swallowed her fear and took a tentative step as she took a breath to calm herself before her voice came out into a soft lullaby in hopes that the soothing tune would calm the frantic boy or at least distract him enough to relax.
"I hear your voice on the wind And I hear you call out my name Listen my child you say to me I am the voice of your history Be not afraid come follow me Answer my call and I'll set you...free I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain I am the voice of your hunger and pain I am the voice that always is calling you I am the voice I will remain..."
Her voice ran out soothingly in an unknown laying age that most likely was the language of the Fae. She reached out a hand to him with a gentle reassuring smile.

His breathing had turned erratic at this stage. He was hyperventilating and the armor was beginning to creep up his neck, it's growth was not at all hampered by Theo's fear, it was aided by it instead, believing its host was in danger. The boy was too frightened to summon up the necessary will to deactivate his armor.
He let out a panicked whine, before Spark's song reached him. The soothing lullaby helped calm him down, he turned to face the fairy. Why didn't she run? Why didn't she get away? Was she staying here out of concern for him? Slowly but surely, the armor began to retract as its host calmed down thanks to the fairy's song. He reached out a hand to grasp Spark's own extended one. The hand that would grasp her own would no longer be covered in blue armor, but instead it was simply pink smooth flesh.
"T-Thank you Spark." He stammered out. Releasing her hand. He looked around to see if anyone else was present. "I s-suppose I should tell you what that w-was." He turned around and lifted his shirt over his head, showing Spark the blue tattoo on his back. "I-I'm not sure what it is. But when I get scared or want it. It makes an armor around me t-that lets me fly and stuff." He let his shirt drop and turned back around to face Spark. "I didn't scare you did I?"

She breathed in relief as the song worked and she gave him a smile."that's ok Theo." she replied kindly before looking at the tattoo. "Hmm." She didn't know what else to tell him about that. She wasnt really educated about some things of the supernatural. "Yes I was frightened at first but you just startled me." She waved her hand dismissively. "But who wouldn't have reacted any different in my place huh?" She chuckled. "But are YOU ok?" She asked frowning concerned as she eyed him.
